The word grooming is a generic term for trimming hair treatment for your dog in the grooming salon. All dogs can be trimmed!

The trim treatments will be performed in a quiet environment, where we work very thoroughly and take time for your dog. We find that a dog that is nicely trimmed without stress is very important.

The coat can be cut or trimmed , plucked, stripped and shaved however you like. In addition, it is also possible to remove the wool of the coat and to remove loose hairs. This, combined with washing and drying creates the best results.

*The amount for a treatment of your dog depends on:

The type of coat.
The duration of treatment.
Whether or not there are tangles
Whether or not fur is matted.
The behavior of your dog.

In addition to the coat being washed and treated, the nails are also clipped and the ears will be cleaned.

What we do:

Plucking: All dogs with a rough coat should be plucked, for example: the wire-haired Dachshund, Border Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Fox Terrier, etc. are plucked. This means that the old loose hair will be plucked, so that the new coat underneath will have room to grow.

Trimming: All dogs with a coat like Maltese, Poodle and all that have to be shortened, are trimmed. We use a straight pair of scissors to cut the length you want.

Thinning: All dogs coats which are thick can be thinned and shortened. This is done with a pair of thinning scissors. In this case the coat will not be shorter but just thinnner.

Shaving: When people want the hair of their dogs very short, the dog can be shaved to the desired size. A combination of shaving and clipping is recommended. The body is then shaved and the legs are cut which gives a nicer effect. If you prefer everything very short, that is of-course possible as well.

Dogs that Shed: We can help dogs which shed a lot by using different materials, such as special combs, brushes and a glove massage. The dog will be bathed and then blown dry with very powerful blow, so the last loose hair will be removed.

Washing: We can also just wash and dry the dog. This avoids you having a bathroom full of hair. We also have different kinds of shampoos for different types of coat.

Generally we wash any dog that is trimmed with us, so the end result is more attractive! This is included in the price. If you do not want it, we take that into account. Nail clipping, ear picking and cleaning are also included in the trimming.
